Telling me XYZ doesn't work is not information. It is a headline. Information includes the software you are using, the version and build (especially regarding Trainz), and a description of what you've done to install/use the item and what the symptoms or error messages may be. Finally, if you find it necessary to use four-letter words and all-caps, and if you can't be bothered to sign your name or remember the words "please" and "thank you," I may find it necessary to ignore you.

BVE Routes ad Trains


BVE Creator-Converter Support Files. This is a collection of object and route files to support the article BVE Creator-Converter by Sanford Mace. vrobject.zip
BVE Flushing Line. Flushing Line route for BVE, created by Ernie Alston and features great sounds and station announcements. Includes Redbird R36 train. Route is RW file, compatible with BVE versions 1 and 2. Zip file is 4.23 MB. FlushingLine.zip
BVE Blueridge route. Blueridge fictional route in the Blueridge Mts. of Virginia. It was created for BVE by Michael Goetz. The route runs from Mineral-Ivy, is 5.8 km in length and features great scenery. The F40PH is the default train, available from Saxon Locomotive Works. Increase power slowly to avoid wheel slippage, especially on the 25/1000 slope. Route is CSV file, compatible with BVE versions 2 and higher, including 4.1. Zip file is 2.9 MB. Dogbone Traction, Part 2 (BVE) Reference Pack. This reference pack contains routes and objects for use with Sanford Mace's article "Dogbone Traction, Part 2." DogboneBVE.zip
New York Elevated Forney #39. Revised 26 May 05. The New York Elevated #39, an 1878 Baldwin Forney, is a special collaboration by Ron Dillard, Al Barten, and Oskari Saarekas. It's destined to run, as the prototype did a 100+ years ago, on Al Barten's upcoming New York Elevated 3rd Avenue route. Features include animated bell, whistle, gauges, levers, doors, tank water/coal, water hatch/spout, stack, safety, blowdown, new zoom/pan functions allowing a conductor's view from the passenger platform or an engineer's view from the cab, and theme music "The NYE Galop" written in 1879 by John Joseph. Central States. This is a scenario of mid-America. It begins in 1915 and is listed as Easy. It's a companion to the article Central States Scenario for Locomotion by Alfred Barten. Place the downloaded .SC5 file in the Scenarios folder inside your Locomotion folder. Central States.SC5
Long Island 1946. This is a scenario of Long Island and region. It begins in 1946 and is targeted for beginners. It's a companion to the article Creating a Scenario and Map in Locomotion by Alfred Barten. Long Island 1946.SC5
Long Island Grayscale. This is the grayscale map used in the creation of the Long Island 19946 scenario. Use it to create your own version of a Long Island scenario. LI-Grayscale.bmp


Nation landscape and Celtics Nation 1900 scenario. Two maps are provided:
  1. Nation: place in Locomotion/Scenarios/Landscapes folder
  2. Celtics 1900: place in Locomotion/Scenarios folder
Celtics Nation contains 37 towns/cities, each named for a past or current Boston Celtics player or coach. See if you can connect them all into a single passenger transportation network. Be sure to customize it in the Scenario Editor to include the vehicles you want and start date you want. I've classified it as Easy.

M-Line PE by Alfred Barten. This is an update to M-Line 2006. It includes passenger enabled stations and a new exploratory session. The zipped package includes the route, session, and two pieces of M-Line rolling stock (an SW7 switcher and gondola) finished in M-Line colors using Paint Shed. Northeastern Junction. This is an interchange between two railroads in a Northeastern USA setting. There are four routes out of town that you can extend as you like. Each route comes with a return loop to serve as a fiddle yard and to enable continuous running while you contemplate your extensions. There's plenty of freight car switching to be done at the interchange, so you don't need to hurry into building extensions. The track in front of the grain elevator is LARS-ready. File size is 2.01 MB; route was built using TRS2004.

Trolley Museum
Ventnor Station NP (No Payware). Ventnor Station is a switching layout based on the Isle of Wight prototype. It includes the station and yard reached by tunnel from a fiddle yard on the other side of the 'mountain.' The layout is expandable beyond the fiddle yard. File size is 621 KB; route was built using TRS2004.

Ventnor Station

Union Terminal Route. This is a TRS2006 route by John D'Angelo.
