Rich Garber
Rich was born in Philadelphia, PA, but grew up in Pittsburgh, where he formed lasting allegiances to the Steelers and Pirates. He attended college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in music (saxophone and bassoon). Later, Rich served in the U.S. Navy during the Reagan presidential years as a bio-medical repair technician. Since then he has pursued a career in computers and programming. Rich has been a railfan as long as he can remember, riding the Philadelphia subways with his grandfather, seeing the trolleys in Pittsburgh, and building an HO gauge train layout with his father and later layouts in other gauges with his kids. Rich enjoys playing and arranging music, with big band inspirational music as his preference. He maintains an active devotional life, placing "Lord Jesus Christ" at the center of his life. ©2004 Rich Garber. All rights reserved. |
